This fuchsia pink and teal tablescape is the perfect backdrop for any summer gathering. Made with pink and teal place settings, teal napkins, pretty glasses, and a simple pink floral centerpiece, it’s perfect for an outdoor dinner party or even a wedding.

Last summer, I decided to shake things up for my annual garden dinner party by introducing a teal and fuchsia tablescape.
The idea was simple: to use pink and teal tableware and accessories to create a beautiful outdoor dinner table that would stand out.
Little did I know, this turquoise blue and fuchsia pink combination would turn out to be so pretty.
It’s a color combination that offers a striking contrast, evokes tropical vibes, and makes you happy just looking at it.
From weddings to anniversaries or just a casual dinner party, this vibrant and refreshing aesthetic is the perfect choice for anyone looking to add a burst of energy and style to a summer gathering.
More beautiful summer tablescapes
1 | Start with pink table linens
I started my place setting with a fuchsia pink place mat.
I really like my white outdoor table so I didn’t want to cover it up with a tablecloth.
And the contrast between the white and pink really makes the place setting pop.
But if you are having a more formal event and want tablecloths, you could use a white tablecloth with pink place mats on top of it . Or just go with a fuchsia colored one.
2 | Add pink and teal place settings
Next I set the place setting.
To make the tablescape look more interesting, I always layer the dishes and mix-and-match patterns.
In this case, I chose to put this glass teal charger* on top of the pink place mat. The colors look so pretty together!
But then went with a white dinner plate to balance out all of the color.
Finally I added a pink and white salad plate that brings the pink up into the place setting layers. (A plain pink one would work, too).
3 | Use teal napkins
To add to the layered effect, I used teal napkins with blown glass floral napkin rings (these ones* are similar).
This echoes the teal from the bottom of the stack.
And the flower in the napkin ring adds to the summer vibe.
4 | Add glasses and cutlery
To finish the place setting, I used vintage-looking teal glasses and silver cutlery.
The subtle pattern on the glasses adds some interest to the table without taking over.
And the silver cutlery adds elegance and also ties in with the trim on the napkin.
5 | And a pink floral centerpiece
With so much color, I didn’t want the table to look too busy.
So I went with a simple centerpiece that has 5 bright pink flowers in a vase.

They echo the pink that is in the place mat and the salad plate.
Which helps to make the whole table look cohesive.
I used faux flowers for this centerpiece. When you are entertaining outside, they are much easier to work with since they don’t wilt in the heat. And you don’t have to worry about water going everywhere if one gets blown over. But you can absolutely use real flowers if that’s what you prefer.
6 | The finished pink and teal tablescape
And that’s it! The finished fuchsia pink and teal tablescape.
I love how bright and cheerful the colors are.
It’s a simple yet elegant way to decorate your table for a summer event.
