How to make a DIY Beetlejuice tree ornament

Here are the step-by-step instructions for making these easy ornaments.

1 | Print out the Beetlejuice ornament printables

Start by printing out the Beetlejuice ornament printables available for free in our subscriber’s Resource Library. You can find them in the Beetlejuice Party section.

2 | Cut out the ornament circles

Now, grab a pair of scissors and carefully cut out the ornament circles from the printables.

Try to cut as close to the edges as possible for a clean look.

3 | Glue the ornament printables onto the wood pieces

Next, apply glue evenly over one side of one of the pieces of wood.

I like to use a glue gun for this since it’s less messy than regular glue. But any white glue will work.

Position one of the cut-out circles so that the top of it is over the hole in the top of the wood.

Gently press the paper onto the glued surface.

Smooth out any bubbles and make sure the edges are glued down well.

4 | Poke a hole through the top

Using an awl, needle, or another sharp object, carefully poke a hole through the paper where the hole is in the wooden piece.

This is where you’ll thread the ribbon or string to hang your ornament.

5 | Repeat on the back side

Now, flip the wooden piece over and repeat steps 3 and 4 on the backside with another copy of the same ornament print.

This will make your ornament look great from both sides.

Be sure to align the printables correctly so that the pattern is facing up towards the hole in the wood.

6 | Thread and hang

Cut a piece of ribbon or string that is about 6 inches long.

Thread it through the hole, and tie a knot at the end.

You can also ornament hooks if you prefer.

Your Beetlejuice ornament is now ready to be hung on your Halloween tree or wherever else you want to display it.
