Moscow Mule Jello Shots

These Moscow Mule Jello Shots combine lime Jello, vodka, and ginger beer for an easy make-ahead party shot with all the refreshing flavor of the classic cocktail.

Equipment

  • 12 2-ounce jello shot cups with lids
  • baking sheet or tray (optional) for transporting the Jello shot cups to the refrigerator
  • kettle or pot to boil the water
  • measuring cups
  • mixing bowl
  • mixing spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 3-ounce (small) box Lime Jello
  • ½ cup Boiling Water
  • 1 cup Ginger Beer
  • ½ cup Vodka
  • Fresh Mint Sprigs optional for garnish
  • Lime Wedges optional for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine the lime jello mix and boiling water in a medium mixing bowl. Stir until the jello has completely dissolved, about 2 minutes.
    1 3-ounce (small) box Lime Jello, ½ cup Boiling Water
  • Add the ginger beer and vodka. Stir to combine.
    1 cup Ginger Beer, ½ cup Vodka
  • Fill the shot cups about ⅔ of the way full and put on the lids.
    • To prevent condensation from forming under the lids, wait until the Jello mixture has cooled completely before putting them on.
  • Place in the fridge to chill for 4 hours or until set.
  • Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge, if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

  • To make transporting the Jello shots to the refrigerator easier, spread the empty Jello shot cups on a tray or baking sheet before filling them with the Jello mixture.
  • For stronger Jello shots, use ¾ cup Ginger Beer and ¾ cup Vodka.
