8-ounce can
refrigerated crescent roll dough

hot dog wieners

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice each triangle into thin strips (about 1/4 inch wide).
Wrap 3 to 4 crescent roll strips around each hot dog until they are covered, resembling a mummy.

Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet, making sure they are not touching each other.
Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the mummy dogs from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes.
Place 2 tiny drops of ketchup or mustard close together at one end of each mummy dog where the eyes should go. Then stick the edible eyeballs to it.

Serve the mummy dogs immediately with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup or mustard.
Notes
To make these in the Air Fryer, cook at 350°F for 7 to 9 minutes.
Substitute cocktail sausages for the hot dogs if you want a bite-sized appetizer.
