Create a festive appetizer with this easy Christmas tree pull apart bread, featuring biscuit dough stuffed with mozzarella and topped with a savory garlic butter.
Place 1 piece of mozzarella cheese in the middle of each biscuit circle.
8 sticks mozzarella string cheese,
Fold the biscuit dough up around the mozzarella cheese, pinch in the edges, and roll into a ball between your palms. Repeat for all of the biscuit halves and cheese.
Place the rolls on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas Tree.
Combine the melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
¼ cup butter,, ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese, ½ Tablespoon Italian seasoning , 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Use a pastry brush to brush the garlic butter over the rolls.
Bake for 18-23 minutes, or until rolls are golden and no longer doughy on the inside.

Notes
These pull apart rolls taste best when served straight out of the oven, so bake them just before serving.
To make ahead, follow the directions up until the baking step. Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Then put them in the oven just before you are ready to serve.
