How to make margaritas with margarita mix

1 | Prep work
Start by slicing a lime into thin wheels.
These will be used as a garnish. Make sure your knife is sharp to get clean slices, and be careful with your fingers!
If you don’t mind doing a little more work, add a salt rim to the glass before you start mixing the drink. To do this, pour some salt onto a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass. Then dip the rim in the salt.2 | Make the drink
Grab a lowball glass and fill it with ice cubes.
Pour in 1.5 ounces of tequila. If you prefer a stronger drink, feel free to add a bit more.
Next, fill the rest of the glass with margarita mix, which should be about ½ cup.
Then give it a stir to mix the tequila and margarita mix together.
3 | Garnish
Finish off your margarita by placing a lime wheel on the rim of the glass or floating it in the cocktail.
This not only looks pretty but also adds a hint of lime aroma as you sip.
How to make a big batch
Making a big batch of Margaritas is super easy when you’re using Margarita Mix.
Simply add 2 cups of Tequila and 5 cups of Margarita mix to a large pitcher.
If you’re making it ahead of time, put the mixture in the refrigerator without adding ice. Put the ice in the glasses when you’re serving.
If you’re making the margaritas just in time to serve them, you can add ice to the pitcher if desired.
