Remove the wine bottle labels by soaking the bottles in water for a few hours and then peeling or scraping them off.
Wash the bottles with dish soap to make sure they are clean and dry thoroughly.
Spray paint the bottles. Doing this inside a cardboard box will prevent the paint from going where you don't want it.
After the paint has dried completely, use spray adhesive to attach the lace to the bottom of the wine bottle. Again, using the cardboard box will keep the adhesive contained.
Cut off the lace where the end meets the beginning point.
Add a dot of hot glue to the bottom of the bottle neck.
Stick one end of the pearl string to the hot glue.
Wrap the pearl string around the neck of the bottle until you get up to the top.
Add another dot of hot glue to hold this end in place.
