Sparkling Sugared Cranberries
These sparkling sugared cranberries are super easy to make, look spectacular and taste delicious. The perfect Christmas snack!
They are very easy to make (only 3 ingredients!), taste delicious and are a simple, elegant addition to a festive occasion.
– Maple syrup – Fresh cranberries – Sugar
Heat maple syrup in a saucepan over medium-low heat until warm but not boiling, 1 to 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat. Stir in the cranberries. Cover and chill 8 to 12 hours.
Drain cranberries in a colander for 15 minutes. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Put sugar in a large bowl. Add 4 or 5 cranberries at a time to the sugar and gently toss to coat.
Place the cranberries in a single layer on the paper-lined baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining cranberries.
Let stand until completely dry, which can take up to 12 hours.
