Easy Cake Mix Waffles

This easy cake mix waffles recipe is perfect for any special occasion. But I really like to make them for birthday celebrations.

INGREDIENTS

– cake mix – eggs – water – vegetable oil – vanilla – Optional toppings: Ice cream, whipped cream, syrup, sprinkles and fresh berries

Step one

In a mixing bowl, add the cake mix, 3 eggs, 1 cup water, 1/3 cup oil and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix until fully incorporated.

Step two

Pour about 1/2 cup of the cake mixture into the center of the hot waffle iron. Close the lid and bake for 6 minutes or until the light turns green.

Step three

Remove the waffle from the waffle iron and keep warm in the oven until ready to serve. Serve hot with toppings.

Step Four

Serve hot with whipped cream, sprinkles, ice cream or whatever other toppings you want.
