Instructions
Make 12 chocolate cupcakes by following the directions for the chocolate cake mix. Let cool completely.
Cut the Oreo cookies in half using a serrated knife.
Spoon frosting into a pastry bag fitted with a large open star or round tip.
Pipe frosting onto cupcakes in a swirl pattern.
Gently press the ends of two Oreo halves into the top of the frosting swirl with the cut sides facing down.
Press two candy eyes into the frosting between the Oreo cookie "wings".
Notes
The Oreo cookies will get soggy if they are stuck in the frosting for too long. So do this step just before serving.
