16 2-ounce jello shot cups with lids
cookie sheet (optional)
kettle or pot
12.79-ounce boxJolly Rancher Green Apple Gelatin
¼cupapple schnapps or pucker
¼cupapple juice or cider
Spread out 16 2-ounce Jello shot cups on a cookie sheet.
Pour the green apple gelatin into a bowl.
Mix in 1 cup of boiling water and stir until all of the gelatin crystals have dissolved.
Stir in ¼ cup apple juice, ¼ cup apple pucker or schnapps and ½ cup vodka.
Chill in the refrigerator until set, about 4 hours.
The cookie sheet is optional but it makes moving the jello shots to the refrigerator much easier and prevents spills
These can be made 2 or 3 days ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until serving time.
For stronger appletini jello shots, replace the apple juice with an additional 1/4 cup vodka.
If you don't have apple juice and don't want the jello shots to be too strong, use 1/4 cup cold water.
If you have it on hand, you can replace the apple pucker and regular vodka with 3/4 cup of apple-flavored vodka.
