These ghost cupcakes will be the hit of for your Halloween party and are really easy to make.
Prep Time 30minutes
Cook Time 18minutes
Total Time 48minutes
Mixer with a mixing bowl
measuring cups and spoons
12 cup muffin tin
piping bag with a large tip
1packageChocolate cake mix
Line the cupcake tins with the muffin cups.
Mix the cake batter as directed on the package (or make your favorite chocolate cupcake recipe if you are so inclined)
Equally divide the batter into the muffin tins.
Follow the instructions on the package for baking the cupcakes.
Let cool completely on a cake rack.
Use your favorite canned frosting (or make it from scratch if you are so inclined).
Attach a large piping tip to a piping bag.
Fill the piping bag with frosting.
Pipe the frosting on to the tops of the cupcakes. Start at the outside edge of the cupcake and go around in circles toward the middle until you have covered it (kind of like you would if you were serving a soft ice cream cone)
Use a knife to smooth down the ridges to make the icing into more of a ghost shape.
Finally, stick two candy eyes on to the top of the cupcakes
