Melt the chocolate candy melts on medium-low power in the microwave until smooth.
Dip the end of each spoon in your melted chocolate.
Lay on a plate.
Place in the freezer for 10 minutes until hardened.
Dip the end of each spoon in chocolate once more.
Let set for almost a minute. Then top with crushed candy canes, sprinkles or marshmallows.
Chill in the refrigerator for another 10 minutes.
Serve with a mug of hot cocoa.
Notes
To melt chocolate in the microwave, heat on medium-low power for 45 seconds. Then stir. Repeat this heat-and-stir process until the chocolate is all melted.
These chocolate dipped spoons can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Or frozen in the freezer for up to a month.
