12 cup muffin tin
cupcake liners
Piping bag with a large round tip
Ingredients

Chocolate cake box mix

can
frosting

Candy eyes
Instructions
Cupcakes
Line the cupcake tins with the cupcake liners.
Mix the cake batter as directed on the package (or make your favorite chocolate cupcake recipe if you are so inclined).
Equally divide the batter into the muffin tins and follow the instructions on the package for baking cupcakes.
Let cool completely on a wire cooling rack.
Pipe your favorite canned or homemade vanilla frosting onto the tops of the cupcakes with a piping bag and large round tip.
Use a knife to smooth down the ridges to make the icing into more of a ghost shape.
Finally, stick two candy eyes on to the top of the cupcakes
Notes
You can also buy already baked cupcakes and just add the ghost on top with frosting.
Substitute chocolate chips for candy eyes if you prefer.
Make sure the cupcakes have cooled completely before icing or the frosting won't hold its shape.
